Rebecca Rodriguez
High Brass

Becky started at Parkland High School in 2009 as an Associate Director. In 2016, Becky took over as the Head Band Director of Parkland High School and advanced to the Area 5A finals competition for the first time in PHS history. The Concert Bands have also been successful in numerous UIL Concert/Sight Reading Contests earning Superior ratings consecutively.
Becky is a brass specialist, with pedagogical proficiency in woodwind, percussion, and color guard performance. Schools she attended were the University of Texas at El Paso and Montwood High School. She marched with Drum Corps International’s Blue Knight's Drum and Bugle Corps from Denver, CO in 2002-2005 and taught the corps as a marching visual technician in 2009. She has taught for 12 years at every level of band directing in public schools. Becky has taught at Anthony High/Middle/Elementary Schools (A.I.S.D.), Parkland High School (Y.I.S.D.), Horizon High School, Ricardo Estrada Junior High School, and Horizon Middle School (C.I.S.D.) with responsibilities including but not limited to, Marching Band, Color guard/Winter guard, Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, 8th Grade Concert Band, and Beginning Band Flute/Oboe/Saxophone/Trumpet/French Horn.
Becky holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at El Paso and is a member of the Texas Music Educator’s Association, Texas Bandmasters Association and the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.
Gabby Tellez
High Brass

Gabriela Tellez is a native of El Paso, Texas. As a graduate of Coronado High School, she attended the University of El Paso where she obtained a Music Education degree in 2021. During her time at UTEP she participated in the UTEP Marching Miners, Mariachi Los Mineros, the Symphonic band, the Wind Symphony, Jazz Band, Brass Choir, Symphony Orchestra, UTEP Pep Band, and various trumpet ensembles. She has also had the chance to perform with several different ensembles at the International Trumpet Guild and the International Women’s Brass Conference. Gabby has been involved with the local marching arts in El Paso for 6 years and has taught at various schools, including Bowie High School, Coronado High School, and Riverside High School. Her involvement with DCI began in the summer of 2016 when she marched trumpet with Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps from San Antonio, TX. Gabby has experience working with all levels of music from Elementary to High School. She is currently the Assistant Director of Bands at Bel Air High School in El Paso, TX.
Anthony Hall
Brass Tech

Anthony Hall is from McEwen, Tennessee and attended Middle Tennessee State University, majoring in trumpet performance. While at MTSU, Anthony earned co-principal chairs in the university symphonic band, and was also lead trumpet in jazz ensemble 1. In addition to the university bands, Mr. Hall also played with several pro bands, such as Music City Swing, The Establishment, The Moonlighters, and Pink Cadillac.
Anthony was 13 years old when his drum corps career started, marching lead trumpet at Music City Drum Corps from 2011-2014.
Anthony has been a member of the educational team at Cheatham County Central High School, Chester County High School, and Jackson Christian School, specializing in brass pedagogy. Mr. Hall also assists with the visual programs and has helped lead Jackson Christian to strong music and visual placements in Tennessee Division I State Marching Band Championships two years in a row. Anthony has also been on horn line staff with BOA regional finalist, Siegel High School,
from Murfreesboro, TN.
Mr. Hall currently spends his time as a crew leader for US Lawns in Jackson, TN. Anthony resides in Humboldt, TN with his wife, Destiny, and daughters Thompson and Kit Parker.
This will be Anthony’s first year on staff at Arsenal.
