Mr. Koch is in his final year pursuing a Music Education degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. At UNT he has performed with many flagship ensembles of the college of music including the A-line, Symphonic Band, Wind Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, 2:00 Steel Band, and Percussion Ensemble. He spent 2 fall semesters teaching the Green Brigade(UNT Marching Band) Drumline.
Mr. Koch has been an active marching tech around the DFW area; teaching at Marcus High School, Prosper High School, Whitesboro High School, and Argyle High School. He has also taught private lessons in Whitesboro ISD, Argyle ISD, Lewisville ISD, and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD.
He performed in 5 Drum Corps International tours from 2015-2019; winning a Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal as well as the Fred Sanford award for Best Percussion Performance in 3 consecutive years with the Santa Clara Vanguard. During his age-out year he served as section leader. He also performs with the Dallas Mavericks Drumline. He serves on the staff at Music City Drum and Bugle Corps as a Bass Drum Technician.
Anthony Yrigoyen currently resides in El Paso, Texas where he is an active percussionist, private teacher, front ensemble consultant, and educator. He recently earned his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from The University of Texas at El Paso and has experience working with all levels of band and percussion. Throughout his college journey he was provided with several opportunities to perform with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra, El Paso Opera, and El Paso Winds. His pageantry arts involvement began in 2011 playing vibraphone with the Revolution Drum and Bugle Corps, then later with the Bluecoats in 2013 and 2014. He has worked with front ensembles at Montwood, Pebble Hills, Coronado, El Paso, Eastlake, and Socorro High Schools. Anthony is currently the proud Assistant Band Director at El Dorado High School. This is Anthony's 2nd year with Arsenal.
